holy teh carp - Tahoe.
So, the Royal Bastards Scooter Club threw a rally, that happened to be right on top of my birthday.
Seriously, I am still out of it from the rally. It was hands down the best rally I've ever been to, and not just because my club put it on: it was great because the people were great, the activities were great, the rides were great, and I got to spend time immersed in things I'm passionate about.
I seriously haven't the time nor energy right now to write a large post, so I'll say this:
1) Monterey Pete's bike is hard to kick start, but fun to ride. I swear it has cruise control.
2) The SFSG made a nice showing and I really appreciate it.
3) A crazy San Diegan rode her LX150 all the way up. Dag.
4) Bin rode a Honda Metropolitan all the way up to Tahoe. Insane, but what do you expect from Bin?
Right now, pics are available on scoot.net - I suggest checking them out. I'll recap in a few days I think, but Christ almighty I'm beat.
Tahoe ain't the last RBSC rally in California for '07, either: stay tuned for Plastico Fantastico, a "tupperware"-scooter happy rally in the East Bay.
